What is iGive?
Did you see option #4 under the "Donate" tab? Do you know what iGive is? Were you wondering if it's legit? Have you wondered how you can help us out without spending a dime? We know that budgets are tight these days, but there are ways you can help. Let me tell you a little about it and how we found out about it. I think you'll be impressed and wanna join too!
I received an email from my dad a couple weeks ago telling me about this organization. They have signed up to use it for a non-profit that is very close to their hearts (Unity for Life Tucson). He explained a bit about it and encouraged us to look into it for A Little Thunder. I did some checking and decided this would be GREAT (thanks Dad!), especially for those who want to help but may not have the means to contribute right now. There is something you can do and we need your help!
If you've ever used "Ebates" or something similar, you will get it. Instead of you receiving the rebates from purchasing from certain websites, the rebates go to A Little Thunder. It's really simple to sign up and start sending money our way! Below are the steps. 1, 2, 3...
1) Visit www.igive.com and register for a FREE iGive account. The first thing you will enter at the top of that page is the organization you want to contribute to. Type in "A Little Thunder" and pick us! (See Screen Shot 1)
2) Once you register, you'll need to be sure to install the button on your browser. It should automatically prompt you to download it. (See Screen Shot 2 below) If the download box does not appear, you will need to find it in your downloads and double click on it. Once the download is complete, be sure to click on it to continue on until installation is complete. (See Screen Shot 3 & 4 below for two of the screens you should see during installation.) It will work you through the steps to install. As long as the button is installed on the browser you use most often, you are set.
3) When you restart your browser, you'll see the iGive button right up by your browser bar at the top (See Screen Shot 5 -- mine is on the left, but yours might be on the right). This installation will drop $5.00 into our organizations account, just like that. AND when you make your first purchase at one of their 925 retailers, not only will we receive a portion of your purchase BUT we'll also get another $5.00 bonus! Those simple actions could buy one Isaac bear without spending a penny out of your pocket.
Please help us out by signing up for a free account. Just remember, it doesn't send us the money unless you install the button on your browser, so make sure to complete the steps!
