A Little Thunder on Television!
We were interviewed on Tuesday by Meryl Lin McKean of Fox 4 Kansas City. It was very nerve wracking but hopefully it turns out great! Tune your channels to Fox 4 tonight at 9 pm or tomorrow morning at 7 am. It was a great opportunity to share our Isaac and the topic of infant loss with so many people. I just saw your segment on Fox 4 news. You did great!! It's wonderful what you are doing for families. We lost our sweet Brandon in 2009 at 31 weeks. Luckily, our hospital had something like this for us to have some memories for him. It's such a great thing to do that not many people know about.

ReplyDeleteI had a still born Dec 12, 2000 next year she would be 12 on 12/12/12...I received a box of memories from the hospital...I would like to help or start this for Shawnee Mission Medical center where she was delivered.

ReplyDeleteOur hospital was/is really great! They gave us quite a lot, but we just felt there was more we could do, and they agreed. They have been so wonderful to work with. We really couldn't ask for better people and know KU is exactly where we needed to be then and now! They knew that there was something missing but so often these items have to come from donations. We hope to expand to other hospitals and plan to start reaching out once we can fulfill the needs at KU.
