Assembling a Box

There is a specific order that we assemble our boxes, and I wanted to share a little sneak peak into what goes inside a box and how it looks all bundled up! We are in the process of changing the bears that are included. We found a new bear that is just as cute (possibly even cuter...how could that be?!) and costs about a third of the price --- seriously! This a BIG thing for us. The bears are our costliest item, and we want to continue to give lots of boxes with the monies we collect. This means MORE boxes for MORE families. A win-win! Below you will see a series of pictures that show how our boxes are assembled. Each step has things that have been to be done in order for that step to work. For instance, the blankets. First, they have to be made (Thanks Grandma for your tireless work in sewing EVERY blanket set that goes in our boxes! She burnt out her serger and had to buy an industrial one just to keep up. Now THAT'S dedication!!!), then folded just right, and a ribbon tied with a tag. THEN they are ready to be included. LOTS of little steps for the final process, but it's all GREAT!
